With decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Jayaram believes in creating not just exceptional dining experiences, but warm and welcoming spaces that make guests feel at home. His passion for service and commitment to excellence continue to inspire the growth and success of the brand.
Uday Shetty was born in Udupi. He is a self-made man who became a successful entrepreneur at a very young age. He left Udupi at the age of 15 to support his family. Through his hard work, he worked his way up from a manager to finally an owner. He is known for his discipline, hard work, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead a team under high-stress and unpredictable conditions. He has the ability to foster a collaborative environment, mentor staff, and lead by example, maintaining morale during long or stressful shifts.
He has a deep knowledge of all hotel departments and an eye for perfection in cleanliness and presentation. His 30 years of experience in the hotel industry has helped him understand budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to improve profitability without sacrificing quality.

Born in Kundapur, Gopal Puthran’s journey began with courage far beyond his years. At just 11, he left home to support his family leaving behind school despite being a bright student and stepped into the world of work. He took on whatever came his way, from wiping tables to handling odd jobs across hotels and canteens in Karnataka.
Driven by ambition and a relentless desire to build something of his own, he moved to Mumbai at the age of 15 believing it was the city where he could truly change his life. While working long hours in the hospitality industry, he taught himself English, fueled by an avid reading habit and an unshakable determination to grow.
At 22, he took his first leap into entrepreneurship by securing a contract for an industrial canteen. What began as a small step quickly evolved into a foundation for scale by the age of 30, he had successfully built 3 canteens and 2 hotels .
His defining breakthrough came in 2005 with the launch of Eqvity Hotels his first owned property featuring a rooftop restaurant, rooms, and fine dining. From there, his journey transformed into one of consistent expansion and impact.
Today, he leads and manages six hotels and resorts, employing over 350 people, with Anantha being his latest and most ambitious venture.
Beyond business, Gopal has been a respected leader within the Mogaveera community, serving as President of Mogaveera mahajana seva Sangha and vice president of Mogaveerava vyavasthapaka sangha and director of Mogaveera Bank, where he contributed significantly to social and community initiatives.
His story is a rare true rise from humble beginnings built on resilience, discipline, and an unwavering belief in creating something from nothing. Even at 62, he continues to lead with the same passion, energy, and hands on spirit that defined his early years.

With over 23 years of experience in finance, Kiran brings a solid backbone of financial strategy, discipline, and long term vision to every venture he is part of. His expertise ensures that creativity in hospitality is always supported by sustainable and scalable business practices.
In 2018, he took over the management of Eqvityhotel , marking the beginning of a series of successful hospitality ventures. He went on to be associated with Buntas (2020), Saroja (2023), and now Anantha (2025) each reflecting growth, consistency, and a commitment to quality.
Kiran’s strength lies in his ability to combine financial acumen with real world operational experience, making him a key force behind the brand’s stability and expansion. Backed by years of industry exposure and a sharp business instinct, he continues to play a pivotal role in shaping ventures that are both profitable and enduring.
Chetan Shetty is a distinguished hospitality professional with over 15 years of refined experience in luxury hotel operations and elevated guest experiences. An alumnus of Don Bosco College of Hospitality Studies, he began his career with some of the most prestigious names in the industry, including Taj Lands End, Taj Palace, and Four Seasons Mumbai, where he cultivated a deep understanding of world-class service standards.
Expanding his professional horizon, Chetan brought his expertise into the corporate realm with renowned organizations such as CoWrks and Piramal Realty, where he led customer experience functions, seamlessly blending hospitality principles with corporate excellence.
Guided by an enduring passion for hospitality, he co-founded Anatha Veg World—an endeavor that quickly rose to prominence as one of the most celebrated vegetarian dining destinations in the region. His commitment to operational precision, guest satisfaction, and consistent quality has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s success.

Shweta Puthran Mendon represents a new generation of leadership where creativity meets sharp business instinct. A graduate from Mumbai with a Master’s degree in Fashion Communication from Istituto Europeo di Design Milan, she began her journey early, driven by a clear intent to build and lead.
At 22, she launched her own fashion venture, going on to establish two brands and manage a team of over 30 gaining first hand experience in scaling, brand building, and operations. Her ability to merge aesthetics with execution became her strongest edge.
At 26, she moved into the film and digital space as a costume designer, working across 20+ web shows, celebrity styling, and visual productions. This phase sharpened her understanding of storytelling, audience psychology, and creating culturally relevant, aspirational imagery.
Today, she brings that multidisciplinary perspective into hospitality with Anantha her first venture in the space. Leading marketing and operational development, she is focused on building a brand that feels contemporary, experiential, and sharply positioned.
